Happy Friday

I got to go for a brief wheelchair ride this morning to have my sonogram.  So weird to be out of my room but it felt good. My doctor said I can take another wheel chair ride either today or tomorrow depending on how I feel.  I got sick last night so I have to hold down food and my pills.  The babies looked good on the sonogram.  They didn't do full measurements but they did a few and estimated that Emma weighs just over two pounds and Levi weighs just under. My big girl is growing fast. She also flipped again and is breach.  She flips often and can't decide which way she likes  best.  We already say that she is like her daddy and cant sit still where as Levi never flips and is always head down.  Their hearts, stomachs, livers, all looked good and there was evidence that they have been practicing breathing.  Yippee!

I am 26 weeks now and it is a miracle. So many of the doctors have said that they are surprised and think I could go more!  I really would like to go home but because my cervix is still the way it is I'm not going anywhere before 34 weeks.  My cervix is stable and has not changed much which is good.

Tomorrow I have to do my glucose test and I am not excited about this at all.  I have to drink yucky orange stuff and then hold it down for an hour so I can have my blood drawn.  Yuck!!! I just hope I can hold it down.

I know this post is random  but not a lot to report. Clayton finished painting the babies room again. I will post pictures soon.
My heart is heavy for my sweet friend Maureen who lost her mother unexpectedly this week.  Please keep her and her family in your thoughts and prayers as they struggle through this rough time.

Have a great weekend.

  1. So happy to hear things are going so well!! Don't worry the drink really isn't too bad- just drink it cold. Poor Maureen, how awful- will keep her in my prayers.
